This is a substantial training commitment. Compare the winter commute as carefully as the summer one, and notice that installments cost more overall than paying upfront. The listed cohort has already started, so ask about entry rather than assuming late enrollment.
Crash Course begins with skating fundamentals and recovery, progresses into contact drills and finishes with gameplay practice. It is designed for people with no previous skating experience, learning as a cohort over 18 weeks.

Summer: Buhr Park Ice Arena, Ann Arbor. Winter: Rollers Skate Park, Belleville.
The page lists May–September at 2751 Packard Street, Ann Arbor, and October–April at 19750 Sumpter Road, Belleville. That location change matters across an 18-week course; check the exact switchover with recruitment.
The money part.
The page prices the cohort at $220 paid in full, or $120 on September 8 and $120 on November 10. Gear is additional. It also quotes $70 annual insurance, which differs from other current league pages; confirm the current provider price instead of treating that number as settled.

What you can borrow
Full skating and protective equipment is required. The page points to a local shop and member-used gear, without promising a loaner library.
Who the program is for
The course welcomes people without previous skating experience. The public course page does not specify every age or gender requirement; ask recruitment before committing.
